Projekt GIFT - Green Infrastructure for Forest and Trees

Grad Zagreb u suradnji s Razvojnom agencijom Zagreb sudjeluje u projektu GIFT kao jedan od partnera.

Cilj projekta je razviti inovativni međusektorski pristup projektiranju zelene infrastrukture drveća i šuma te promicati njihovu povezanost u različitim tipovima krajolika njihovim uvođenjem u političke dokumente različitih sektora i postizanjem integriranog međusektorskog pristupa na planiranje politike.

Projekt se temelji na pristupu partnerstva s više dionika i uključuje kreatore politika u regionalnim skupinama dionika.

Razdoblje provedbe projekta je od 01. ožujka 2023. do 31. svibnja 2027. godine.

Projekt se provodi u sklopu Interreg Europe programa Europske unije.

Ukupni proračun projekta je 1.971.182 € (80% sufinanciran sredstvima EU).

Od 06. do 08. lipnja 2023. godine u Santiagu de Compostela (Španjolska) održan je prvi sastanak partnera projekta GIFT (Green Infrastructure for Forest and Trees).

Vodeći partner projekta te organizator događaja jest Instituto de Estudos do Territorio (Španjolska). Partneri na projektu su County Administrative Board of Västra Götaland (Švedska), Flemish Land Agency (Belgija), Province of Fryslân (Nizozemska), Aufbauwerk Region Leipzig GmbH (Njemačka), Provincia di Rimini (Italija), Slovenian Forestry Institute (Slovenija), University of Latvia (Latvija), Grad Zagreb (Hrvatska) i BSC, Business support centre L.t.d., Kranj (Slovenija).

Ministrica okoliša, teritorija i stanovanja gđa. Maria Angeles Vazquez Mejuto otvorila je događaj naglašavajući važnost integriranja zelene infrastrukture u planiranje korištenja prostora, posebice u području upravljanja krajobrazom.

Svi partneri su predstavili svoju regiju i ulogu u projektu, iznijele su se najbolje prakse i metodologije za evaluaciju javnih politika vezanih uz zelenu infrastrukturu te su predstavljena ključna pitanja vezana uz komunikaciju i promociju projekta. U sklopu studijske posjete obiđene su četiri lokacije kao primjeri dobre prakse zelene infrastrukture u okolici grada.
