Komisija za 15 država članica predlaže 81,4 milijarde eura financijske potpore iz instrumenta SURE

Europska komisija dostavila je Vijeću prijedloge odluka o dodjeli financijske potpore iz instrumenta SURE u iznosu od 81,4 milijarde eura za 15 država članica.

Instrument SURE iznimno je važan element sveobuhvatne Komisijine strategije za zaštitu građana i ublažavanje ozbiljnih socioekonomskih posljedica pandemije koronavirusa. To je jedna od triju sigurnosnih mreža koje je Europsko vijeće dogovorilo radi zaštite radnika, poduzeća i zemalja.

Nakon što Vijeće te prijedloge odobri, financijska će potpora biti u obliku zajmova Unije državama članicama pod povoljnim uvjetima. Zajmovi će državama članicama pomoći da pokriju nagla povećanja javnih rashoda za očuvanje radnih mjesta odnosno izravne troškove financiranja nacionalnih programa skraćenog radnog vremena i drugih sličnih mjera koje su, posebno za samozaposlene osobe, uvele zbog pandemije koronavirusa. Hrvatska je zatražila potporu od jedne milijarde eura za očuvanje radnih mjesta odnosno izravne troškove financiranja nacionalnih programa skraćenog radnog vremena i drugih sličnih mjera.
