EUROPSKI ZELENI PLAN

EUROPSKI ZELENI PLAN

Europska komisija je pokrenula javno savjetovanje o svojem budućem akcijskom planu za ekološku poljoprivredu.

Taj će sektor imati važnu ulogu u realizaciji europskog zelenog plana i postizanju ciljeva utvrđenih u strategiji „od polja do stola” i strategiji za bioraznolikost. Prioritet je Komisije osigurati da sektor ekološke poljoprivrede na raspolaganju ima odgovarajuće instrumente te djelotvoran i usuglašen pravni okvir, koji je ključan za postizanje cilja da 25 % poljoprivrednog zemljišta bude namijenjeno ekološkoj poljoprivredi. Iako je nova uredba o ekološkoj proizvodnji čvrst temelj, sekundarnim zakonodavstvom koje se tek treba donijeti mora se osigurati jednako čvrsta potpora. Zato je na zahtjev država članica, Europskog parlamenta, trećih zemalja i drugih dionika Komisija je predložila da se stupanje na snagu novog zakonodavstva o ekološkoj proizvodnji odgodi za jednu godinu, s 1. siječnja 2021. na 1. siječanj 2022.
